Day Two – Monday 19th August

It’s day two of the World Transplant Games here in Newcastle, UK and we have a busy day ahead!

Our golfers are off first thing this morning for the Golf Singles event. We will be cheering on:

Eoin Hurley, Garry Campbell, Pat O’Sullivan, Mike Kiely, Marie O’Connor, James Nolan, Michael Dwyer, Ron Grainger, Kieran Murray, Tony Gavigan, John McAleer and Philip Kavanagh.

In addition, this morning, the Petanque finishes up with the Doubles event. Our team members are:

Noel Marsden & Jerome Lyness, Harry Ward & Paul Prendergast, and Charlie Ryan & Finian Farrell.

Heading off to the first Bowling event of the week, the Bowling Singles, are:

Emma O’Sullivan, Orla Hogan, Lenny Ryan, Aodhagan Cullen and Tommy Marrett.

We also have cyclists off to take part in the Time Trial event. They are:

Sinead McGowan, Mick O’Shea, Tony Byrne, John Moran and John Connell.

Last but by no means least; Deirdre Faul is taking part in the Squash this afternoon.
