We are meeting up in the ALSAA Sports Complex (www.alsaa.ie) next to Dublin airport on Sunday November 27th.
Facilities booked:
11.30am-1.30pm: One third of the Sports Hall (badminton);
1pm-2pm: One lane in the swimming pool;
2pm-3.30pm: Up to four lanes in the Bowling Alley.
Lunch will be available to purchase from the Bowling Alley.
Open to people on dialysis, transplant recipients (kidney, liver, lung, heart, pancreas and bone marrow) and family or a friend.
Informal – engage at your own level – bring appropriate footwear and clothing (and a racquet) if you intend to play/try badminton.
The swimming pool will be supervised by a lifeguard but there will be no coaches there – there will be a roped-off lane for the sole use of Transplant Team Ireland people (tell the person at the desk that you are with the Irish Kidney Association / Transplant Team Ireland and there will be no charge).
I will be at the sports hall and the bowling, I won’t make it to the swimming. Sports facilities are paid for by the Irish Kidney Association. Let me know if you intend to come. Looking forward to seeing people there. Colin. (teammanager@transplantteamireland.ie)
Normal COVID-19 protocols apply.
