Aodhagan Cullen received a transplant in 2010. He lives in Loughduff, Co. Cavan with his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Aoghagan will be competing at this year’s World Transplant Games in the 40-49 years category in the following events:
- Track & Field – Ball Throw
- Track & Field – Javelin
- Ten Pin Bowling Singles
- Tennis Singles
A keen sports fan, he enjoys racket ball, cycling and is involved in organising tractor runs and motorbike runs to raise money for different charities.
This is Aodhagan’s first time attending the Transplant Games, and he is delighted to be able to attend. He says, ‘I’m excited to compete, and hopefully take home a medal as it has been so long since competing in any sports, especially for Ireland’.
