Finbar (known as Finny to his friends) is a liver transplant recipient (2019) and keen tennis player. He works as a porter at St. Vincent’s hospital and has embraced being part of the Transplant Team Ireland family with great enthusiasm.

This year will be his first time to represent Ireland at the World Transplant Games and he has been proudly sharing his story far and wide. It is through Finbar speaking about his upcoming involvement in the Games at the Health Services Staff’s Credit Union that has led them to come on board as the official team kit sponsors.

Travelling all the way to Australia is going to be a great adventure for Finbar and he plans to make the most of it and take in the sights whilst also actively supporting his teammates.
