36-year-old Nick, originally from Sutton Co. Dublin but now living in Melbourne, received a stem cell transplant in 2020. His sister Sarah Jane was his life-saving donor. Nick and his wife Catherine welcomed their miracle daughter, Rafferty Heather, into the world in April 2022.

“Rafferty and my amazing wife will be there to support me competing in golf at the transplant games.”

Nick is excited to have the opportunity to celebrate life and a second chance at the Games in Perth. He is also looking forward to meeting other transplant recipients from all over the world. Nick’s wife Cat, also a keen golfer, plans to caddy for him at the golf events and his mother Jeanne is flying out to Perth to support him in the games.
