Zimele is a Dialysis patient currently waiting for a kidney transplant, originally from New Orleans, USA now living in Galway and he will be competing in the 30-39 years age category in the following events:

‘I am a dialysis patient from New Orleans. I have 3 beautiful teenage girls and a loving wife who support me in all that I do. I compete for them’.
Zimele is representing Ireland for the second time, he competed for Ireland in the European games in Poland in 2014 winning many medals!
