Angela Sherlock – Spain / Dublin

Angela is a kidney transplant recipient from Dublin and she will be competing in the 40-9 years age category in the following events:Angela

 

  • Track and Field – Shot Put (Men & Women)
    Track and Field – Discus (Women)
    Track and Field 4 x 100 Relay (Heats & Finals)
  • 10 Pin Bowling (Doubles)
    Track and Field – 1500m (Heats & Finals)

 

Angela had her first transplant in 1991 and her 2nd in 2003. Angela says the last 10 years have been the best, she has been able to travel the world and that is thanks her donor. She loves going to the gym and working out and meeting her friends for coffee.

Angela is no stranger to competing at the transplant games, she has represented Ireland 7 times:

2006 – European Games Hungary
2005 – World Games Canada
2004- European Games Slovenia
