The World Transplant Games is a unique event with almost 1000 participants, all of whom are transplant recipients. Every person has an inspirational story, every person is a living testimony to the fact that organ donaiton and transplantaiton are both important and successful!

Every athlete at this Games is playing their part in:

– Showcasing the success of organ donation and transplantation

– Letting people who are newly diagnosed with organ failure that their is a future and it can be very bright

– Letting living donors and donor families know just how much their Gift of Life
is appreciated

– Encouraging ALL OF US to lead healthy and active lives

It is a privilege to be a team mascot at these Games and it is a particular privilege to be the mascot for team Ireland!
